AEBN Updates Mobile Interface With iPad Optimization

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — AEBN has announced a new streamlined interface for mobile users.

"We've noticed that the iPad is the most-used mobile device across our sites," AEBN vice president of sales and marketing Jerry Anders said. "In response, we've optimized the interface for all iPad users. It will automatically detect an iPad and offer an experience that's unique to those users."

But the company said it’s not ignoring users of other devices. Android tablets will soon be able to access the new interface that iPad users are seeing. All Android 4.0+ devices should now experience improved streaming quality using HLS (HTTP live streaming) without the need for Flash plugins, which are no longer available for Android devices.

The seamless mobile interface offers AEBN customers the pay-per-minute model that they're accustomed to on normal AEBN VOD theaters, using the same login information that they use on their desktop computer.

The company said users will still see AEBN's 1080p true HD streams on a huge number of best selling and exclusive titles.

To use the mobile interface, visit m.aebn.net from your smartphone, tablet, or other mobile device.
